Yes, we are licensed with the Texas Department of State Health Services.  Camp ID # 250469

What is your camper to counselor ratio?
Our camper to counselor ratio is at least 1 counselor for every 10 campers.

Who is the on call physician for the youth camp?

What is the name and qualifications of the camp health officer?
As this is a small traveling summer camp, Erin Pate (owner and operator) will serve as the camp health officer.
Qualifications include American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR training, as well as child abuse and child molestation awareness training.

What happens if my child is injured at camp?
A first aid kit meeting the Texas Dept. of State Health Service requirements will be onsite at all times.  The kit will include necessary items to deal with minor emergencies and I will carry my Medical Treatment Protocol with me at all times, which has been approved by Dr. Pruitt.  In the event of a more serious injury, parents will be notified immediately and if necessary, Dell Children’s Hospital will be the primary medical emergency facility.

What is your payment policy?
If you don’t plan to pay for your session in full at the time of registration, a $100 deposit is required.  You can pay the deposit by check, cash or money order sent to 300 Wimberley Oaks Dr Wimberley, Tx 78676. Payments can also be made through Venmo – account: Erin Pate @Erin-Pate-5.  The remaining balance is due two weeks before the first day of camp.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you provide a cancellation notice more than two weeks prior to your session, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel less than two weeks before your session, you will forfeit your $100 deposit. If you have paid a deposit or paid in full and cancel within five days before your session starts, you will not receive a refund.

How do you travel?
We travel in an air conditioned 15 passenger van.
